My retail charts are available exclusively through retail outlets or at selected trunk shows during teaching events. They are not available through my website or by mail order. I believe strongly that we need to support our local shops so that we can have that experience of a place to browse or get patient help when we need. For this reason, I recommend fibers and materials that are friendly to shops. Many people ask me why I design primarily in silk and use Anchor floss in finishing. Several reasons:

• The silk suppliers are family owned businesses that depend on the needlework industry to survive
• Silk and Anchor Cotton floss are high quality fibers and your time simply deserves the best materials
• Some suppliers of embroidery fibers partner with large chain stores and undercut prices, charging customers less retail than an embroidery store can purchase at wholesale endangering our local store
